The Hampton's Homestead and Campground Neighboring roughly 8,000 acres of state land and an abundance of Michigan's beautiful lakes, you'll find this 30 acres of woodlands where you can breathe easy in nature. Somewhere you're free to embrace your truest and most sincere self. allowing your spirit to feel renewed and inspired. We strive to create a safe, community-rich environment built around love and acceptance filling you with endless memories. What started as just a dream, one families idea of a new life purpose, "Moss ~n~ Mushrooms" came to be. The Hampton's decided to make their move in 2019 across the great state of Michigan, from Metro Detroit to Mecosta, ready to embrace and learn the ways of rural living, prepared to build their homestead. What they hoped to find, was the opportunity to spend more quality time with family as well as a deeper connection to nature.
Moss~n~Mushrooms hosts various "work play" weekends where we invite those interested to volunteer their time and energy as part of our community building efforts.
